– Finished size ~ to suit an A4 sized document frame
REQUIREMENTS AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN COVER
Fabric required
– Off-white/Cream Fabric – cut size -10 1/2″ x 15″ piece – for wreath panel
– Lighter Green (I used Shadow Play) – 4″ x 20″ strip – for horizontal borders of wreath panel and daisy leaves
– Slightly Darker Green Fabric (a small print… I used yarn dyed fabric) – 7″ x 14″ strip – for top and bottom strips
– Medium Dusty Yellow Print (small print) – 3″ x 10″- patchwork & daisy centres
– Pale Dusty Yellow Print – 5″ x 10″ – for patchwork
Stranded Embroidery Thread Required
– Stranded Embroidery Cotton
— Variegated Yellow to Dusty Pink – Cottage Garden Threads KD06 – Foxtrot – for text & dashed curves
— Yellow – DMC 728 (Cosmo 702) – for bee, buttercups & daisy centres
— Darker Green – DMC 937 (Cosmo 634) – for stems, buds & leaves
— Lighter Green – DMC 471 (Cosmo 2117) – for stems, leaves & buttercup centres
— Light Grey – DMC 453 (Cosmo 473) – dandelions & dandelion seeds
— Medium Brown – DMC 610 (Cosmo 369) – for bee
— Beige – DMC 3864 (Cosmo 306) – for seeded grass
— White – DMC Blanc (Cosmo 100) – for daisies

– Light weight batting – 13″ x 15 1/4″ – for framing
– Erasable Fabric Pen – some lines need erasing

– An A4 sized frame (approx 298mm x 210mm)
As an alternative, “Gather Me a Posy” could also be finished as a wall hanging, with the addition of backing fabric, binding and a hanger.
