Terms and Conditions

When ordering wholesale,

• You must be a registered business trading in the industry. Australian customers need to provide a current ABN to order.
• A minimum of 2 copies per pattern must be purchased.
• Receive a free pattern, for every 10 patterns ordered. A pattern of similar value will be chosen at our discretion.
• Let us know if you make a One Day in May store sample. Email a photo to receive 3 free patterns of that design.
• Orders can be placed above under the “Wholesale” menu, by phone or by email.
• Payment must be made before an order is shipped, unless you’ve made other arrangements with us.
• Claims for missing items or incorrect deliveries must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
• One Day in May patterns may be taught as a class providing EVERY student in the class purchases a copy of the original pattern.
• One Day in May patterns may be sold as full or part kits providing EVERY kit includes an original pattern.
• One Day in May patterns may not be copied, loaned or re-distributed in any way, shape or form.

Consignment orders will be considered for special events within the industry, such as a craft show or store event.

• A minimum of 50% of the order placed must be retained and purchased.
• 50% of the order must be prepaid before shipment. Returning stock must be shipped within 7 days after your event. Returning stock will be checked, counted and invoiced upon its arrival.
• Payment for retained stock must be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
• Any returning stock, must be in new and complete original condition, and packed in a manner that ensures this is maintained.
• Return shipping is covered by you for initial shipment and returning shipment. Return shipping must be registered and tracked.

From time to time, One Day in May project samples are available for store loan.

• A minimum purchase of 8 patterns for the sample design must be made with the sample loan.
• The initial loan period is generally 2 months. However, if we need the sample for a special event, we may ask that you ship it to us at our expense. The sample will be returned to you once the event is over.
• Initial shipping of the sample and patterns will be covered by One Day in May. Return shipping must be covered by you. Samples must be returned in original condition and shipped in a manner that ensures their protection and safety. Return shipping must be registered or tracked.
• Your personal business insurance must cover borrowed samples. You will be liable for any loss, damage or theft of borrowed samples.
• Secure small samples in store and at craft fairs. This can be done in a variety of ways. Small pin cushions or needle-keeps can be pinned to a quilt, or attached to something with a ribbon safety-pinned to the back of the project.
