Deck the halls with boughs of holly…

Are you ready for a few sneaky looks at my "Christmas in July" project for
Quilt Fabric Delights?
I couldn't resist the temptation of adding some "Christmassy", dimensional detail…

These novelty prints also add some great Christmas flavour, and fit into my theme of red, green and white beautifully.

There is also a lovely, rich, red border that draws the eye to the centre.

This years Christmas In July is going to be overflowing with beautiful projects for you to create.
You'll find gorgeous, brand new Christmas patterns… designed especially by the QFD creative team ~
Amanda of Sea Breeze Quilts, Cheryl of Willowberry Designs, Rachael of 2+3 = A Madhouse and Rachel of Four Wise Monkeys. And if that's not enough to spark your creative Christmas spirit. You'll also find exciting new designs by guest designers Bronwyn Hayes of Red Brolly, Janelle of The Janelle Wind Collection, Brenda Ryan of Thimblestitch and Me for One Day In May.

I've been very lucky to have seen some of the other projects already… wish I could show you. They're gorgeous!

For more details on how you can participate, please visit Quilt Fabric Delights. If you're in a browsing mood, check out QFD's wonderful blog and online store while you're there. They're overflowing with inspiration, patterns, fabric and more.
I'll be back soon, ready to reveal some more detail of my Christmas design. In the meantime, I'd love you to come over to the One Day In May facebook page for a visit. You'll find a lovely community of crafters and quilters there too.
Until then,
